This should be fun.

I’d like to start off by saying that I have no creative writing skill, I’m bad at essay-writing and I’m by no means the smartest guy on the planet. I’m writing these analyses because I love this genre more than anything and thoroughly enjoy exploring all aspects of each album I listen to – that’s part of the joy of prog: there’s so much in each song to dig into and understand.

So, with that being said the posts I’ll be making to this website are purely my individual take on the albums (I’ll be doing research before reading any lyrics so I know what the album’s themes are so I won’t be completely off the mark). If you decide to read the things I post, I hope you enjoy them. Feel free to get in touch if you want to give your take on a certain album or song; I’d love to have discussions!

The first album will be Sonder by TesseracT because I saw them live recently (supported by Plini and Between the Buried and Me) and it’s all I’ve been listening to for the past week. Looking forward to digging even further.
